Dr Mandy Oliver
About
I am an experienced Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with over 25 years NHS experience working in adult psychological therapies, including teaching and supervision, and a background as a Clinical Psychologist. I have held roles as Clinical Lead in Perinatal mental health and in Psychodynamic Therapies. My practice also includes a post-graduate teaching role at the Tavistock Clinic in central London.
I have expertise in treating a full range of adult psychological issues, including: depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, post-natal depression, parenting difficulties, managing long-term health conditions, histories of childhood trauma, bereavement and loss. Sometimes the difficulties that prompt people to look for therapy are more focused on feelings within such as feeling lost or empty or feelings of not belonging.
Areas of interest: Peri-natal mental health and parenting; work problems; relationship difficulties; managing long-term health conditions; histories of childhood difficulties or abuse and trauma.
