PPA senior membership course
The aim of the course is to help colleagues deepen and intensify their clinical work.
It is our intention that the requirements of the course fit comfortably within a pre-existing private practice. The extra work that is required is usually offset by the rewards of increased work satisfaction and the opportunity to meet with and learn about the work of new colleagues.
It is also hoped that course members will benefit from the new teaching arrangements that will make it easier for those attending from further afield.
who is it for
The course is for PPA members.
The course is taught over five Saturday mornings per term by leading clinicians and will be divided between theory and clinical seminars. Two three times per week cases will be seen in tandem with the teaching. Each case will be supervised fortnightly by a different approved training supervisor.
We anticipate that some of the topics covered will include among others: Contemporary Approaches to Narcissism, Dreams & the Unconscious, Technique: Post- Kleinian, Freudian & Independent approaches, Perverse States of Mind, Interpretation.
Five Saturday mornings per term 10.00am -13.15pm, spread over six terms.
PPA members who have been qualified for at least three years are invited to apply.
£460 per term; full fee (6 terms): £2760
On offer of a place, you will be invited to register and pay via debit card through a secured payment page.
